The 12th Annual ME for Me Conference will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Come out to this all day event focusing on the various career paths available for mechanical engineers.
Ever wondered what exactly a mechanical engineer does in industry? What projects he or she may be responsible for? Get all your questions answered by representatives from industry leaders such as Northrop Grumman, ConocoPhillips,and GE.The event includes lunch catered by Panera and a raffle at the end of the day. The timing is perfect for those looking for jobs and internships, as it falls on the weekend between two career fairs. 2. FE Review Course
The FE Exam is April 25, 2009. For those of you looking for a chance to review the material, ASME will be hosting a review course beginning on February 16. Sign ups are on the first floor of Engineering Hall, Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. If you have questions, email Jeremy Koch at jakoch2@illinois.edu

4. BP Refinery Visit
* When: Monday, February 23rd

5. Volunteers Needed for EOH
We are looking for Juniors and Seniors to run tours during EOH on Friday, March 13. Contact Sarah Hoogheem at shooghe2@illinois.edu if you are interested and would like more information.
6. Fundraising Committee
The ASME Fundraising Committee is looking for new members! We are involved with raising funds for ASME's many events, and hold between 3 and 4 events per semester. Past events include a cup night at Fubar and selling snacks in MEL, among others. This semester we are looking to raise money for Relay for Life in addition to our usual events.
